The following list states some of the uses for Emu
Oil that we have heard about. Many are being documented
by clinical research studies and some are personal
experiences.The Australian Aborigines have used Emu Oil
for more than a thousand years for its healing
properties. Modern science is proving Emu Oil to be a
great component in the relief of pain
and inflammation of human tissue. A study recently completed found that skin where Emu Oil has been used was two to four times thicker than other skin. ARTHRITIS Emu Oil used topically and taken internally has relieved the arthritis pain in my knees and back. Before Emu Oil I could hardly walk and was in pain so bad that I did not think I could stand it. I have had both back and knee surgery. I now can move around and do my normal duties pain free. I am even ready to go dancing. BACK AND SHOULDERS Several years ago l had back surgery and could barely get around to do my house work much less spend any quality time with my young son. The next day he reported that the Emu Oil took the menthol product much deeper than the other shoulder. He will be using Emu Oil to help the menthol penetrate deeper. BURNS Early in 1996 I was cooking and accidentally got hot water all over my arm. I knew I should he placing my arm under cold water, however I thought I might as well try Emu Oil to test its potential. After several minutes most of the pain was gone and I only felt a slight stinging sensation along with some reddening. The next day there was no evidence that I had ever been burned . A one year old baby crawled underneath a vehicle that had just been driven. The hot tailpipes caused a nasty looking 3rd degree burn across his upper back. The baby was brought to me a neighbor and I applied Emu Oil bountifully and gave the mother a bottle to take home with her . You would expect large blisters with lots of pain and discomfort with such a burn. No blisters appeared and there was very little pain and discomfort. In 4 or 5 days the new skin had started to grow with no redness or raw look. Within a month you could not tell that the child had even been burned. A fair, red headed young lady got a severe sunburn on a small area that had not received sun screen. Her physician father applied Emu Oil the pain was relieved and there was no blistering or peeling. CALLUSED AND IRRITATED HANDS Recently a restaurant worker with callused and irritated hands from being in hot water all day started using Emu Oil on her hands several times a day. Within a week her hands were still painless and getting better every day CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME Do you suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome? Many people do! It has been found that regular use of Emu Oil will greatly reduce the pain involved.
